Capital Park 

Monday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Tuesday toFriday: 1 - 4:30 p.m.



Tuesday to Friday: 1 - 4:30 p.m.


Whitehall-Yearling High School

Monday to Friday: 8 - 11 a.m.

Scheduling Your COVID-19 Testing

To schedule your COVID-19 testing, please call our health center at (614) 235-5555.


If you are a new patient, our call center representative will complete your full patient registration form. Please have your state ID or driver’s license and health insurance information on hand.


Due to a high volume of calls, you may expect a longer wait to schedule a COVID test than normal. Additionally, we are prioritizing the tests to patients that need them the most so you may be asked to call back in a couple of days if our schedules have filled up. We appreciate your patience as adjust to frequent requests.


What to Expect at Your COVID-19 Appointment 

COVID-19 testing is an in-car testing procedure. As we have COVID-19 testing in three locations, please note the different drive-in processes:

  • Capital Park - Drive to the side of the clinic. Look for traffic cones and a sign for COVID testing. Find a place to park near the tent.
  • Whitehall - Drive to the back of the clinic. Look for traffic cones and a sign for COVID testing. Find a place to park near the tent.
  • Whitehall Yearling High School - Drive to the back of the high school. There should be Heart of Ohio Family Health signs directing you. Park near our clinic.
    After you have parked, stay in your car.

There will be a phone number posted outside. Please call that phone number and inform us that you have arrived for your testing. After your phone call, one of our nurses will come to you to ask preliminary questions. Then, one of our doctors will test you.


Using Our Patient Portal

Our patient portal (FollowMyHealth) will be the best way to schedule appointments, look at medical information (including COVID-19 results), and get further updates from providers.

Do I need to wear my face mask to my appointment?

Yes, wear your mask to help prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

Will my health insurance cover for COVID-19 testing?
Heart of Ohio Family Health accepts all Medicare, Medicaid, and most major commercial insurance plans. Additionally, we have a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. No one will be denied care regardless of their ability to pay.  For more information on our sliding fee scale, please visit our Patients page.


When will I get my results back?
You will get your COVID-19 testing results in 3-7 days.


Do I need to get retested if I’m positive?
It’s not recommended to get retested if you have a positive test result. Follow the instructions that your provider gives regarding when it’s safe to return to work or other activities. If you test positive, we will not retest patients unless it is required by your employer.
