Behavioral Health & Substance
Use Disorder Counseling

Heart of Ohio Family Health seeks to recognize all of our patients’ needs, including their mental and emotional being.

Our Behavioral Health team takes a close look at symptoms of mental health disorders.

If you are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, drug or alcohol abuse, and/or any other disorders, we have trained counselors, therapists, and nurse practitioners here to empathize and help.

The initial psychiatry appointment will discuss potential medications and options for the patient. Our patients’ mental health is important to us and medication might be helpful to alleviate any emotional or mental stress.

Our psychotherapy services will be a private conversation between the patient and therapist opening up topics that may affect a person’s mental well-being. Follow-up counseling sessions might be needed with our counselors.
