Feibel Center
Thank You
Heart of Ohio Family Health at James B. Feibel Center hosted a grand opening Open House on March 10, 2022.
We are deeply endebted to the many individuals, companies, organizations, community leaders, community partners and staff who helped us see this beautiful new facility to completion. Jim Feibel made a significant and positive difference to the lives of many, and worked tirelessly to make our world, and particularly Central Ohio, a better place. His investment in and work toward improving the lives of others will never be forgotten.
Our sincere thanks to everyone for helping us fulfill Jim Feibel’s vision of quality, affordable and accessible healthcare for all.

From remarks by Diana Turoff, President and CEO of Finance Fund, at the Heart of Ohio Family Health at James B. Feibel Center Grand Opening Celebration, March 10, 2022.
Good evening and congratulations to the Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers on this long-anticipated day!
Finance Fund is a mission-guided, non-profit organization that drives capital, real estate development, and other resources to low- and moderate-income communities to improve quality of life. Finance Fund provided the financing for the construction of this remarkable facility. This new center will support not just the physical health of the many new patients it will serve, but will also act as an anchor to the community through education efforts, vast community gardens, and the maternal health space that will help bring women together to share their experiences and provide peer support. This new, modern facility will improve the health and wellness of families across Whitehall, the East Side, and the greater Columbus area.
As I visited the site during construction, I was particularly struck by the way Dr. Mohammed and his team seek to welcome such a wide variety of cultures to our community. I noted that as of November there were 28 different languages used across Heart of Ohio sites, with more to come.
Due to the determination of Dr. Mohammed and his team, they were able to secure support from the City of Whitehall, the Columbus Foundation, the U.S. Health Resources Services Administration, and other partners – because it took a collaborative effort for all of us to be standing in this room today.
I understand that James B. Feibel was a tireless advocate for undeserved Ohioans, and am confident that this facility will pay a fitting tribute to his legacy.
I look forward to seeing the profound impact that this new space will have on patients and their families for many years to come.
